Walked past baywalk yesterday after work. And i was quite surprised to see high school students loitering. Aren't they supposed to be in school at mondays? And i can't help but observe this young couple. The girl was massaging the boy's hand and then they kissed... yes! they kissed with their tongue and all as if they were the only people around! tsk. tsk. I am a self confessed late bloomer. I only had my first kiss when i was in college! ( Yeah go ahead and laugh i dont care! heh )
According to recent statistics, 75 percent of prime time television in the 1999-2000 season included sexual content. Premarital sex is referred to two or three times every hour in soap operas and prime time tv shows. The entertainment and news media are important sources of public storytelling, they figure prominently in the stories we tell each other about who we are and what we value. So i don't blame this teeners to think that PMS is so good and maybe considered 'in' to some nowadays. We may even encounter the famous 'alibi' but everyone's into it... You see i may not be a church goer but i am a believer. I believe that our body is a temple of god. And we should by any means respect the temple. ( e.g as to church, catholics don't make unecessary noise) I have nothing against those who are into PMS, but i believe that a single innocent kiss may lead into something else hence lead to something that these teeners know nothing about--- unwanted pregnancy.
Anyhoo, i don't wanna sound like im Ms goody-good Toni. I just like observing human behaviour and how an individual reacts if faced by certain difficult situations. So go ahead, lemme know what you think about this post. I'd be more than happy to hear from you, guys. And as to the teen couple at baywalk i hate 'em for remindin' me my first kiss.. eeeww!
