Its about summer love, secrets, betrayal and friendship.. Jack and Nell go to Hubbard's Point for the summer, where Nell's recently deceased-mother spent her summers with 2 friends (they were the Beach Girls). Nell later made two good friends in the name of Skye and Clare.
I must say the books a good read.. and i'm sure glad that this amazing piece comes in tv... and DVD series... heh
